The Utah Structured Settlement Protection Statute S.B. 163 – Effective Date May 6, 2002 Structured Settlement Agreements 2002 general session State of Utah This act enacts the Structured Settlement Protection Act. It provides guidelines for transferring structured settlements. It also requires notice and hearing requirements and provides for agreements to be approved by a court. This act provides an effective date.
